Academic Competitions
(first Friday of each month, mornings)

All students are required to participate in at least one academic competition each school year.  All teachers are required to coach at least one academic competition team.  Time is allotted throughout the school year for the teachers to coach the students on each of these teams.  The school will provide transportation to the academic competitions and will absorb all costs of participation.  While teams may meet at other times throughout the school year, the first Friday of each month in the morning is exclusively reserved for a team meeting.  Educators will be flexible in planning each student’s time schedule as each competition nears.
