American Sign Language

American Sign Language, in addition to English, will be most useful to the student in an emergency.  Beginning in preschool, all students will be immersed in American Sign Language, the third most spoken language in the United States, with the goal of each student working towards proficiency. 

All teachers will earn their Associate Degree in Interpreting within the first two years of employment with the Academy so that they may be proficient in using American Sign Language naturally within their instruction.
