Monthly Newsletters

These are a school wide production.  Each classroom is responsible for producing their own newsletter and information system to the families of the students.  This can be accomplished through print or digital media, or both.  In addition, each classroom is responsible for one section of the printed school newspaper to include local, regional, national and global news.  The topics each grade is responsible for is alternated by month so by the end of the year each grade has produced each of the sections.  It is the responsibility of the upper grade buddies to assist the lower grade buddies as necessary.  The different topics are:  Front Page (which includes production, assembly, and distribution of the newspaper), Sports, Comics, Editorial, The Arts, Travel, Business, Literature, Polities.  It is expected that the newspaper will contain the accomplishments and concerns of our student population as they relate to these topics.  For instance, if someone has an uncle in the army stationed in Italy, articles on Italy should reference this connection.
